Ella Enchanted

This book is very important in many ways. It shows how true friends last their relationship without lies, how a curse can't stop things. Also how love can be discovered on top of tragedies that happened in your lives. That there are people that would hear you, when needed to be heard, people that will make you laugh on tough stuff.

This book talks about a girl who has suffered through a lot of things in her life, like her mother death, and a curse that has followed her all her life, and people (her stepsisters, and her stepmother)have taken advantage of it. During her life, after her mothers death, she begun her adventure. She meets new love, but she could not accept it for she is afraid of someone who knew about her curse and use it for evil. Therefore she seeks for her fairy that has put her the curse, so she can be free. In her adventure she will meet fairies, elf's, ogres, a prince, and most important you will be stuck in the book 'till the end of her story.

This book connects to the world that we are living, in a way that makes us protected by someone. Everyone that truly cares about someone will never hurt that person no matter what anybody says. In the world that we are living this happens, because when someone truly cares about someone, this happens a lot, like in the book. Ella does her best on not doing the wrong thing, but because of the curse it slows it down.

Suppose that the world or the people wouldn't care about anybody, then everything would be different. How? Well if people wouldn't show how much they really care about someone, then there is no love at all. Caring for somebody is like showing how much you love that person. All this stuff we can not live without it, because that's how everything was born and created.

Ghosts I Have Been_ Richard Peck

I consider this book important because it talks about Blossom telling lies in which she thinks they are hilarious, but she also involves other innocent people. But one of her "hilarious" troubles becomes reality, and soon she discovered that she is different from other people in her town. Many people now, consider that all of the troubles that they make are funny when you involve someone that hasn't done anything. Lies, is something that no one really likes.
Blossom Culp lives in Bluff City. Her mother has a second sight, which means she can see what no one else sees, or experienced; ghost, Spirits. Blossom Culp first pretend to have the second sight, to scare off her new friends, but in the end she realized that it was not a joke at all. She started seeing the future and the past that she had never seen before. Now her and her friend Alexander face their fears.
I think that an argument that is being made in this story, is that friendship is judge by the way you dress or act. Like in this story if you want to be popular you need to always dress different in a very fashionable way, or if you live in mansion. In this case Blossom was not this way. But when she discovered her new power, her life changed. Now most of the guys pay attention to her. But for me, friendship is judge in a different way, I judge it if that person is always his/her self (always).
This story really connects to the real world (the world that we live in) to the arguement that is being made in the story. Like there are some people who are secretly (rich people) are hanging out with lower classes people, because if their friends find out, they will be humuliated. This I consider a problem, because friendship can be found anywhere .
Suppose that Blossom didn't have this power of hers. Then the story will be different, and I can assume that it would have been about her silly pranks. Though without this power she wouldn't have discover things nobody else knew about, and would have been reported around Europe.

The last Battle by C.S Lewes

The significance of this book has a lot of relationship with the conectionof the book and what is happening in our world. Because there needs to be PEACE between everyone! No matter who we are, it doesn't matter where we come from or anything that makes us different. We all need to be good to each other. There is no need to fight for something really dumb.

It starts with a clever ape and a donkey, and while they were walking by the river the saw a lion skin floating on the water and the ape thought that if the donkey wore the skin lion then everyone will think is Aslan. The donkey doesn't think i't a good idea, because he thinks it will be disrespectful. In the end the donkey wears it, and weeks later it causes a major problem between Narnia and Calormen. The king Tirian tries his best to stop this, but the ape has started a problem that could not be stopped. But right in the middle of the story a small group of kids comes from nowhere and tries to help king Tirian. Would they be able to stop this?

An arguement that is being made in this book is that people try to make "friends" with someone and then making them more as their slave. This type of person in this book is the ape. The ape always made the donkey feel bad, and so the donkey did what was told to do.

This book connects to what is happening now, because there are people that are fighting for their rights or for what they think it's right. This sometimes leads to a fight and know that in the end it will turn out to be a very bad ending. This won't just affect the people who were involved in it, but also for those who are on one side of another. In this book it tells how a prince tries to save it's people with the help of a small group.

Suppose that, everyone did not died then the Chronicles of Narnia will still be going on and on 'ti'll there is a real ending. If everyone did not died, then the ending would have had an exciting ending. Maybe what would have had happened was that all of the Narnian friends will have come to Narnia and fight for their rights.

The Silver Chair-C. S. Lewis

The Silver Chair is a beautiful story about a family that has been separated. King Caspian has suffer to a lot, he lost his wife and his son Rilian is missing for many years. No one has found prince Rilian, and now Eustace and Jill are in a quest to find him and return him to Narnia where he belongs with his father.

For me the theme to this book is family. I recommend this book to everyone, because it teaches the importance of a family. Every one cares about their family, which is why this book makes it meaning to read. You always have to love your family, because one day you never know what is going to happen, and once you look back you would have wanted to change everything that was possible.

This book was problobly written in the 80's, because it talks about how boys used to wear shorts. The story talks about a queen being bitten by a big snake. Her son Rilian, after her death he seeks through the same place where her mother was killed for revenge. Though every day he comes home empty handed. One day he asks his father trusted friend to come with him, and what they see is a beautiful women like a ghost, though they know she is evil. The next day he disappears. Now Aslan sends Jill and Eustace to find him. Will they find him in time?

I think the arguement that is being made is that everything wrong can be fixed. The author supports this argument by putting a piece of a story saying that a school of bullies is now a school of peace. In my opinion, I think that i agree because everything wrong can be fixed with some support from everyone, or someone whom is nessary.

This story connects to the real world, beacuse we all need to take care of our family. We all need to be smart at every step that we take, because it may affect in the future. Today some of us have a family memeber that is missing, and once you found him it will be too late, and you will remember the good times they had, and you'll want to change all of the arguements that they had.

Let's suppose that the queen was never killed, then the prince wouldn't be missing. If all this didn't happen then there won't be any point reading the story.

The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader-C. S. Lewis

In this book it shows that team work is important. It also shows that being together is really important, so you wouldn't be wandering yourself alone or otherwise bad things can happen to you if you don't follow directions. In the real world it, in other words right now, people don't respect each other

This is the fifth book of Narnia it is probably one of the best books of The Chronicles of Narnia. This story was probably written in the 1800's, because men used to wear shorts long socks etc. There's this character who's name is Eustace who is cousin of Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy (they are king and queens of Narnia) he is a bully to them in the beginning of the book, but while he is having a lot of adventures around Peter's world (which is another world, not ours, because theirs is flat like a table) he learns a lot of things, like learning to treat everyone like he wants to be treated, being together is important, doing teamwork, etc. In the end Eustace, learns to be nice to his cousins.

I think the argument that's being made in the book is sharing ideas to everyone. My opinion is that sharing ideas is a really good thing to share even though they might sound dumb, they might come in handy. Like in this book there were times when one person had this really dumb idea, but even though it wasn't good it still supported another idea. Or there are times when someone shares an idea and everyone just laughs about it, and that person gets upset.

Out of all I said, it connects to the real world because this things happen and can also cause a problem today. Why, because when people don't work together it causes problems between each other and they turn against each other, because one didn't want to follow the other one, or they weren't doing their job, etc.

Suppose Eustace didn't turn into a dragon then he wouldn't have known that taking care of others is really important. Also he wouldn't have known how beloved they were to him the whole time, and since then on he has learned a lot of lessons.

Island Of The Blue Dolphins-Scott O' Dell

I think this book is worth reading it, because it teaches you how to survive in a stranded island. What I mean by this, is how to protect yourself from wild animals. I dedicate this book to people who don't apreciate what they have, because this book teaches that you rather live with someone rather than being alone.
This author is one of the most popular well-loved authors for young readers, and when you read it you'll be amazed by the story or how many things it has tought you. In this book theres no technology, but there are beautiful stuffs that you can find in an island.
Probably the argument that is being made, is that your worst enemy can one day be your best friend. In this I agree because there are alot of situations where you just hate this person that you can't even see her, but later she/he, one days turn out to be your friend. Theres a time where the charecter feels sorry for her enemy because he was actually having a harder time with his family.
This story affects us because, there are kids who don't have parents that don't know if their parents have abandon them and forgotten about them, which is sad situation. On another side theres pets. Pets, as they say are the humans best friend, and I defenetly agree because you know theres someone who needs your help, and it feels goood to know needed. In the story it talks about how much she cares about her pets, and that without them she isn't happy.

Promise Not Tell by Jennifer McMahon

This book has everything an interesti ng book could have! For example theres a character called Kate and she tries to hide the facts about her best friend 30 years ago that she died to the police so they can find the criminal. For me it got me really mad mad because Kate was afraid to tell that a stinky girl was her best friend. Anyway this book has everything that could get you interested. It's mysterious, has happiness, sadness, anger, etc.
The author believes in ghosts, and I don't blame her because I believe in them too. In this book Jennifer talks about a spirit who is hunting her best friend to lead her to her killer. The reason why I believe in them is because I've been told how it feel to be near one (which by the way it sounds creepy) and also read.
Many people hide their past thinking that's a solution to over come things, when it isn't. When you lie about your past or just hid it, you know that sooner or later you have to face it and over come it, or sometimes it comes as a revenge, like in this book.

In the end the author leaves you hooked up, because it leaves a peace unsolved, which of course I will change that and solve it unless if theres a second book. It's a
good thing that an author will leave you like that , because it will get you more interested in the book and you'll want more but for me it's annoying.
